ID this camera

The only certainty is it's a dSLR. Otherwise it is impossible to tell just from viewing this video clip and he does not say.
Not the "Jamel Shabazz" video - he meant the YouTube video in the "How Does Bruce Gilden Do It?" section of the aforementioned site. It's certainly a Leica M with a wide-angle lens <= 28mm...
 
The body is definitely a standard issue black paint MP.
I doubt it's a MP because his technique looks like he is using TTL flash, taking ambient light meterings separately and using fill-in flash to give some extra lighting from the side. This won't work with an MP, you need either an M6TTL or an M7.

Ah yes, I see it now...

At first I thought it as an M4-2 or M4-P. But it is definitely a BP MP - there is one patch in the video clip where you can see the RW knob, the accessory crank, and the worn black paint. The camera has a metal Leitz accessory finder on the hot-shoe and the flash is plugged into the back on a chord.

The lens looks like a 28mm pre-asph Elmarit-M, but that is just a guess.
