Just bought this lot of 35 cameras on ebay for $60 (including shipping) I could easily identify a few cameras of reasonably good repute, so I found it an irresistible buy.

So, let's play "Keepers & Stinkers." You tell me which of these have good reps and which should go right to the donation pile (assuming someone will take them).

Oly XA2, Pentax PC35AF, Minolta Riva Zoom (or Freedom Explorer), Ricoh FF-90, Ricoh TF-500 (or 900?) are keepers. Can't say for others as know nothing.
 
Agree about the Olympus - all worth a second look.
Would pull out the Nikons - do a Google search on each model - and see what is said. The rest - goodness knows.

What I see as good.

2 Oly XA-2s 10 & 12
Oly Stylus Epic 27
Pentax C35AF (Just bought 1 of these last week!) 15
Ricoh FF90 26
Nikon One Touch 23

I'm curious about:
The 2 Nikon 28mm AF cameras 35 & 32
Any of the zooms that might be stand out. Never figured any ps zooms were worthwhile, but would love to be proven wrong.
 
The Canon z90W (?) is a pleasant camera that it's hard to fool. I'll agree about the mentioned Olympuses and wish you'd put up a list of them...

I'll check out that canon.
Haven't received them yet, but will take better pics and make a list when I get them.
 
Definitely the Nikon One Touch, never used one, but I worked at a minilab and an old lady used to come by with one (she couldn't load or unload the camera herself) and the shots printed were generally tack sharp. It also looks kind of cool, in an 80's fetishist sort of way.
 
I love collecting P&S cameras. I check the thrift shops all the time and most of mine have cost about $1.00. I agree you should keep most of the Olympus except maybe the SuperZoom3000. The Nikon (#23) is a keeper and I've had good results with Fuji P&S. I also have the Pentax EZY but mine is the EZYS. I don't care for it. Very soft. I don't think you should discard any of the cameras until you get them( except for the disc camera). Sometimes just the way a camera feels in your hand will tell you if it's worth checking into further. But that's just my opinion.

The Kodak KB10 is a plastic-fantastic. I bought one for a holiday about 12 years ago for £9.99 including a roll of Kodak Gold film and the batteries, which gives you an idea of the quality. Snaps were unpleasantly soft, and eventually it started scratchign the film. I now have much better carp cameras!
