A few years ago, a barium "procedure" revealed that I have a prodigiously long appendix. Too bad I am so well-endowed with a vestigial organ.

The grocer was fresh out of clear liquid burgers. Had to settle for Jello-O without the "shot". I can't wait until tomorrow afternoon. I'll eat a cow. maybe a burrito for dessert.

ps: If I won the lottery, I would make Roland an offer he couldn't refuse for the goodies in his avatar. Or at least 3/4 of them. I have my own nice 50/1.4.

I have everything I need, really. I don't even use it all as much as I should. But if I had all the money in the world, it would be interesting to try - Zeiss Ikon camera with all the new Zeiss lenses. Also, some Large format setup - don't know which as I don't know much about it. But seems like a cool thing to have. A good Medium format setup, like Hassy with film and digital back. Mamiya 6 or 7 always looked like a worthwhile kit to have too. But as I said, I have all I need and what I really need is more free time so I can travel and use it all for photos while visiting all the cool places around the world.

Hmm, interesting question as i probably have most of what I need and want! Maybe a couple of M2's (one cant have too many of those) and upgrade from my M6 millenium with a 0,58 finder to another MP Black Paint 0.58 (a back up to the one I have) and upgrade my LHSA 0.85 to a MP 0,85 and just for the hell of it a MP 0.72. Lens wise I am only interested in the 28f2.8 Asph in the Leica line (have everything else I need and want). As for non Leica, the new 21/4,5 Biogon and the 18/4 Distagon in the ZM mount.
As money was no object i would also go to Kodak and ask them for a "parent" roll of Tri X (that is 64 inches wide and 4000 ft long and have the edge markings changed to read Tri X- Copyright Tom A and slit to 35mm and cassette'd.
this is a surprisingly modest list I admit and, apart from the film, doable within the next little while. Maybe an M8 if I can get Leica to do a dedicated bl/w 16Mp version.

Best Wishes, Wayne, for positive results! I had the roto-rooter look-see myself this past Spring and fortunately the doc said to come see him again in 10 years. May it be thus for you.
As to a cost-no-object kit, I think I'm pretty close already, but might add a .58x MP black, 24, 50, & 75 Asph. Oh what the heck, add an M8 just for fun.

My M kit is complete, with the working set being an M4, 35/2.8 Summaron, 50/2.8 Elmar, 3E 90 Elmar, SBOOI & SGVOO VFs - all in silky Wetzlar chrome.
I really don't want further weight, cost or fiddling in the street. I might pick up an IROOA/ITDOO hood at some point (have the IUFOO now).
I save the GAS attacks for boat-anchor SLRs, and studio lights.

Plus I'd keep my M4p and add a few more lenses. And a M8, but I'm sure that by the time money is no object, it'll be the M10. Just, as they say, for curiosity.

A perfect M-set would have to be carried, of course, in a perfect M-bag. Since one really does not exist
, I would hire the King's best craftsmen to design and make one. Then and only then my GAS would run out....

I'd go for an MP3, black, with 35 'Lux, 50 'cron and Nocti, and 75 'cron. 28 cron and metal black viewfinder.

reconsidering, a nice black M8 with 28 summicron and noctilux 1.0 last gen. adding a canon 100mm 3.5 for the lightness of the tele-kit. i would add a 35mm summilux asph and 50 75 lux all last gen. and i think its a nice little kit for a hell lot of money and certainly fun to use!

M2, M3, 35/2, 50/1.4, 90/2, 135/2.8
The M2 would have the 35 Summicron permanently attached.

I'm working on my perfect M kit. I have a .85 MP a tabbed 50mm Summicron just bought a mint 90mm elmarit-M . All in beautiful Leica chrome. Just need to add a chrome 35 Summicron Asph and a 24 mm Elmarit and I'll be set.
