Shucks!
Shucks!
Thanks Doug & everyone.
I got the same story from my Doctor. And in the presence of Mrs. Wayne. No excuse here to raid the piggy bank for film and gasoline for an epic road trip. Grinning. I'll just have to fund the road trip the old fashioned way: Work my buns off.
I suppose I am done. Winning the lottery would afford me the time. I wouldn't need any more gear.

Doug said:Best Wishes, Wayne, for positive results! I had the roto-rooter look-see myself this past Spring and fortunately the doc said to come see him again in 10 years. May it be thus for you.
Thanks Doug & everyone.

I'm fairly easy to satisfy. If I could I'd get an MP (not sure which version) and a Tri-Elmar to start.
I'm sure LBA would then set in...

LBA - wrong forum...
LBA - wrong forum...
Over on DPReview Pentax Forum they describe a subset of "GAS" known as "Lens Buying Addiction"...
And hey, if money were no object I wouldn't be looking a Pentax DSLRs, I go for a Canon 5D.
And might was well add an M8 and Wide Angle Tri-Elmar. (Seen that abbreviated as "WATE").

Matt, you have a healthy desire for "classic" M-gear I see! M4 would be cool... I still have the 35/2 'cron v1 I bought new with my used M2, and the 90 Tele-Elmarit that I struggled to afford new the next year. Never have had any Leica 50 or 135, though I do have the new 21. No 24 or 28 for you?

Money no object. Mmmmmm. I think 2 custom ordered MP's with titanium bodies, one with red trim, the other with blue trim so I would remember which film was in what body. Lens wise, I'm already completely content with my 28, 35, 50 and 90 Hex's but I'd love to add a new Hex 60 1.2L and the Leica 21 and 75 to my bag. But overall I'm quite happy with my present setup which includes a Hexar RF and a new M6 ttl.

Pretty much like it does now but I might swap my M2s for MPs with M2 style finders and maybe add a 21mm. The superwide would see very little use, but this is "money no object", right?
I'm really quite content with what I'm using at present.

I would not change a thing. I have two MPs and four FLs (28,35,50,90) .... but I would quite like one of the new ZM 21 4.5 lenses. My M kit is better than I am, so changing anything would be kind of pointless. I might add a 75 Summicon ASPH. That would be nice but probably a waste of time in terms of imprving my shooting. Probably just make it harder to know what to walk out the door carrying! If I want something longer than 50mm I have to take the 90 Elmarit-M. I would not mind trying out the 90 f4 Macro Elmar M as it is so diddy and presumably great for travel and street where I dont personally need a fast lens.
