If you had to get rid of all your P&S camera's but were offered the opportunity to keep one only. Which would it be?

Mine is the Ricoh GR1v.

Olympus XA4. Not exactly a point and shoot but its been the closest I've enjoyed using.

Stylus Epic and XA didn't click for me. I haven't tried any of the more expensive cameras in this class. The FF90 was just too large and loud. Don't care about the results as I really didn't enjoy using the camera at all. A shame as I've seen good results with it.

For me it would be a P&S that has a 28mm lens with no/minimal barrel distortion and no/minimum light falloff. It also must have manual exposure option, F stop up to 16 and decent battery life. Ergonomics, reliability and decent battery life are also important.

I have not used the Ricoh Gr1v, but if that is what I'm describing above then for me it would be Ricoh GR1v.

Of the couple that I have, it'd be the Fuji Black Natura, for sure. Great lens, paired with frustrating lack of control.

It is hard for me to decide between mju:2 and Fuji Silvi, probably the latter for being wider, maybe the former for being harder to kill. None of the Ricohs unless you give me a steady supply of them - as much as I love them, I've gone through too many of them to believe that they are actually keepers of mju qualities (i.e. any good after a year in coat pockets).

None of the boutique things for sure - if it is too expensive to drop, lose or mess up, I may as well bring a real camera.

Konica Lexio 70W for me, I like that 28mm lens. It would be the Samsung ECX1 if not for its size. But I have a few that I haven't tried yet.

Pen EE, because it's simple. No focus, selenium exposure control (which is still accurate enough for slide film - I ran a roll through after replacing the light seals recently) and built very solidly. Mine has survived nearly 30 years with me, so far.

PS.I'm assuming that the Rollei 35 isn't a point and shoot, due to the absence of automation.

I'd say it's a toss-up between the Pentax PC35 or an Olympus Stylus Epic (mju).

Pretty much any of the Oly XA's would be in there too but they're technically rf's...
