Any ideas on an everready case with a strap for my newly arrived Zeiss Ikonta 'Mess-Ikonta' 524/16? There are no strap lugs on it, which is a little inconvenient.

perhaps you could take it to a leather worker. a shoe repair type place over here would be able to fix that (afix new strap lugs)..i have seen them fix ladies handbag straps and such before.

Ah, I was unclear: it's been a long week!
I don't have a case at all, just the camera, which doesn't have anywhere to fix straps at all. So it's a case I'm looking for.

ah i see...
well for a genuine one the obvious place to keep an out is eb*y...now and again they pop up. actually i am sure i seen one a week or so ago...but if it doesnt need to look old/genuine then a modern camera carry case would work and some say are better in reagrds to quick access and not storing your lens near leather due to the increased possibilty of the lens being atatcked by mold.

The genuine cases are pretty much just pouches aren't they?
