Ilford FP4 and Fuji Neopan 100 Acros

Films should be discussed along with developers.

I have used FP4+ for decades, thousands of rolls with different developers - it always comes right. It is a favorite film with ID-11 1+1.

Acros 100 is not available in my city.

What I am reading here about Acros 100 seems like a good case for trying Acros 100 with other developers. I had exactly the same problems with TMX, blocked highlights and unsatisfying midranges. They all disappeared when using Beutler or Ilford DDX.

I have now excellent negatives with both films, FP4+ in anything, TMX in Beutler or DDX.
 
Just this morning I found a vendor selling fresh 6x9cm Ilford FP4+. It's very difficult to find anything anywhere is this hard-to-get size. I load this film into Plaubel single sheet film holders, and also cut it down to 6x6cm, and load Hasselblad single sheet holders.

Just ordered 250 sheets from Germany. They still have seventeen 25sh boxes left, if anybody here is interested:
