Hi!
I've just returned from a trip to morocco on which i also used some fp4+ pushed to 250 ASA.
My question is, do you know how to develop it? I have rodinal as a developer, but i don't know the times/dillution for a pushed fp4+.
Thank you
Tim

The rated speed for FP4+ in Diafine is 250, the only time I shot it at that speed. Negs were pretty nice though.

Ilford gives times for FP4+ in rodinal at 200ASA (1+25 13mins 1+50 20mins).
Have not tried them, but you can start from there.
I developed a couple of FP4+'s last week at 400ASA and 800ASA (in Rodinal 1+50) and am waiting to make some contact sheets. Both look ok as a neg, can't really tell until I print some though. You should be ok at 250, wait till someone who has actually done this replies, for more.

In the 1970s I rated FP4 at 160 (or was it 200?) and developed it in Microphen.

Dear Tim,
True ISO in DDX or Microphen is close to 200. Personally I'd add 50% to the standard time for the 1/3 stop push but that's probably more than most people would want. Try, obviously, with a test roll shot at home rather than the Moroccan stuff.
Rodinal will give you at best the ISO speed, so I'd be disinclined to use it for pushing.
Cheers,
R.
