Ilfosol 3 or DD-X?

My bottle of HC-110 is nearly out and it's time for me to move to a different developer. I've narrowed my choice down to either Ilfosol 3 or DD-X. I have experience using DD-X but have never used Ilfosol 3. I'll be developing mostly Acros 100, Delta 400, and Delta 3200.

Cost is no issue for me.

Is there any reason to pick Ilfosol 3 over DD-X?

i've used both.. i like DDX better. I reuse a liter of it 5 or 6 times, adding 10% to development each time (as per the spec).


I thiiiink Ilfosol-3 is a one shot developer? It was meant to replace -S which would suddenly die.



If you read the film spec sheets, it says what ilford developer is best for what purpose, fine grain, replenish-ability, convenience, etc..
