FSU cams are definitely "gateway." You luck out quickly for a little money, a good body, a sharp lens - all for about 50 to 65 with shipping.
Then... BLAMO - you're found muttering to yourself in alley fondling an Argus C44.

Since then I've moved up in the world. A few Yashicas and Canons, a Retina and an Isolette.
Could happen to you.

Definitely a mental health issue, a chronic problem for many of us here in RFF... gear acquisition syndrome. Not sure if there's a real cure out there...thanatos said:

When it comes to FSU GAS is relatively harmless, it's when you start to lust after a Summilux 75 or a Noctilux that things can get really ugly!
