Love the colouring of the pumpkins on the tray.
Keep looking at the Labrador dog photo and can't decide just where the focus is - looks a very shallow depth of field. Have you some details on camera settings for this? I'm curious.

No focus distance so that doesn't help :)

I was leaning at a really weird angle when I took this one (I think I was holding my 1 year old and trying not to fall over ) so I wasn't the most precise with the focusing.

BTW all of these, except for the Mums which I toned a bit, are straight out of camera and just resized.

Kinda kicking myself I bought the LX-3 (at $600!) and now see this superior camera at a hundred bucks less. I don't regret my purchase, as the files from my older camera are great, but....

Lumix/Panasonic seems to be really hitting it out of the park with this camera...native square mode? Brilliant.

I can only second that LX5 is an awesome camera. Bought it only 2 days ago, but already love it. Especially the aspect ratio switch on the lens - I can quickly change that to what the subject requires.

I was looking for something small to carry with me all time, and for bicycle trips to throw in the jersey back pocket. I was considering GF1, S95 and LX5, but LX5 won because of zoom lens AND compact size (GF1 can be either small with 20mm, or have zoom lens) and hot shoe for use of external finder (not on s95).
