If you need a VPN for temporary purposes, you can get one here: https://www.techradar.com/vpn/best-free-vpn
I have maintained a paid VPN service after being hacked a few times in China, UK, etc.

Just watched the documentary (on the "replay" web site, ahead of screening time). Nice, but a little disappointing. Many times, a voice gives comments on some aspect of V.M.'s photographs, while some loosely related contemporary NY scenes are shown. Moreover, I guess that 2021 NYC is different from what V.M. experienced in the fifties. I enjoyed more "Finding Vivian Maier".
This does not detract the performance of Dan Wagner as a contemporary stand-in for VM in today's NYC.

Actually 2020 NYC - same as 2021 - my viewpoint is that the same faces you could find in the fifties still exist - yes it's a different world. The worst thing now is everyone holding a cellphone.
I can understand anyone enjoying Finding Vivian Maier more - can't really compare a 14 minute short for TV to a feature length film
Performance of Dan Wagner - hahaha! That's so funny. I spent about an hour with the producer and cinematographer near 42nd St & Fifth Ave - and with COVID, masks, less people, and such it was a real chore trying to find stuff to shoot. I did my best to show how street photographers use TLRs, and how Viv might have worked based on her photos, the craft, and my experiences. Without a time machine that's all one can do. I wish we could have shot this stuff prior to COVID, and that we could have spent more time and visited more spots, including Chicago, to really get a better feel. That said, I think it's good for what it is, and it was nice to get outdoors. Now with the variants, it feels like things are closing in again.
SEPTEMBER 9 - seems like as others have mentioned that it's on 9/9 rather than 9/2 LINK
