I was in Oxford today with a young ladyfriend, and both being youths interested in more than partying.....etc.

So we go to the Oxford Science Museum, as there was meant to be some Da Vinci pieces. We go into the basement area, with the room that smells like an old school science lab (some of you will know that damp, musky, sciencey smell). We walk around and there are some really cute 1/4-plate or larger bellows cameras, and then in the cabinet I see a dog-rough Contax-I. I pitied it, and how poorly it was looked after, then in front was a slightly less rough Rolleicord!!

'm still using a Rollei and they have it as an honest museum piece!!!

Well... most of us here are using museum pieces, and most of my camera collection is in all honesty worthy of that title.

I thought I'd share. No Leica, just an old contax and a rolleicord standing by all the large formats.

If you had a chance to visit Prague, spend an afternoon in the technical museum, they have Kievs and Zenits in their "photoapprat hall" too.
