Whale Steak for Lunch​

It's a hard to find restaurant in the Yokohama Fish Market. It looks like a dump. You can't sit in the restaurant, you have to sit outside in a tent. It's f-ing hot! You might as well be at a clam bake in hell.

The menu is posted on the wall. It doesn't mean anything. You walk in and order from the menu and the cook tells you it's not available. Then he makes suggestions. We got this today, it's fresh, or maybe frozen... take it or leave it.

Despite all that, business is good. Nobody complains. The food is great and it's cheap too! I had the whale steak... damn it was good! I'll be back again.

I have never bonded with the Fujinon XF 18mm f2 lens. Fujifilm describes it as a "compact and lightweight pancake type lens"; it's light weight but not (IMO) very pancakey. I have to force myself to take it out for the day and use it. It is strange that I feel this way about this lens because every time I take it out the results are always far beyond my expectations. I should be in love with this lens. Maybe the courtship is just taking longer than usual.
