Jamie, sorry to be dilatory on your question! That's wide open, low ISO (I think) using the BW/green filter setting + minimal LR4 adjustment on highlights.
I shoot a lot in the Pioneer Cemetery while exercising my little friend Mimi, and test cameras/lenses on the same subjects. That was an XE/18 day...

Beautiful image! Is this out-of-camera b&w or post-processing b&w? If PP, what software are you using? Thanks.

Robert, thanks for the information. I'm especially interested in seeing images made with in-camera b&w settings. That image was nice. I've not tried the green filter setting yet, but now I will.

Some nice photos here that exhibit the lens' strength. I wouldn't hesitate to get one (provided one is aware of the limits).

The X-Pro1 and the 18mm are still new to me, but I'm already liking it.

Here's a set from a few months back. I really enjoy the 18mm honestly, It's the perfect size on the x-pro1 and the center sharpness is wonderful, sure the borders are a little soft, but I could care less. We so often worry about distortion and edge sharpness that it kind of takes away from the process of actually capturing images. Besides, when I need edge to edge sharpness I use the 14mm

18mm is wide for Portraits but, it does have a nice rendering. This lenses is an enigma for some. I find it a keeper even if it lacks the surgical sharpness of the other fuji lenses

Nice shot Rybolt. Do you think you could reel it in to about 1000pix max on the long side.
It looses it's charm a bit from scrolling.
Cheers!

Yes. I'm sorry about that. I grabbed it from my website where stuff is sized at 2000. I'll correct it.
