Took the 18mm for it's first solo outing... I thought I preferred the 35 but maybe I don't? All I do know is I had an inordinate amount of fun shooting the XPro-1 together with this gem of a lens today.

That last one is great, jazzwave!
Shot some street yesterday with the 18, only got into the funk of getting close as I was heading home. I've gotten used to the 35's 52mm equivalent surprisingly quickly considering I've been shooting with 28mm lenses for a long time:

Loooong exposures (betweem 26 and 70s) f8 at EI200 on a mini tripod, therefore the rather peculiar perspective.

The X-Pro1 and the 18mm are still new to me, but I'm already liking it.

second hand noob

These are some of the first images I took with my new second hand 18mm f2. The f-stop ring is nicer than on the 16-55, and it is a good bit smaller, easier to take to work. I like a 28 mm angle of view.

I used to not like the 28mm focal length but it's now becoming my favourite, goes well with a 2nd camera with 50mm focal length

FANTASTIC image! Great composition and gorgeous B&W! What post-processing software did you use to create the B&W, or is it out-of-camera? Thanks.

I just got the X70 and I'll be interested to see if it's 28mm-equivalent lens produces image quality equal to the XF 18. I'll post some here for comparison.

That's really great to hear. I've been fooling around using Nik software to make B&W. It looks like I need to give the OOC settings a try.
