Local hip-hop show last night in Ithaca...the woman, Sammus, is freaking amazing. Really loving the 56/1.2 for shooting music. Shot at 6400 and adjusted in LR.

A fine place to spend some time, Cadieux Café, on the east side of Detroit. Reflecting Detroit's French heritage and founded by Belgian cyclists decades ago, serves steamed mussels, baguettes, good beer, and books excellent local players, like Planet D Nonet, performing their annual Sun Ra repertoire to a full house:

Some recent photos from a trip to Alaska. Gotta be one of the most spectacular scenic areas I've ever been to.

Thanks Jamie! I'm currently using an XT-2, which I'm still learning but enjoying a ton. I was resistant to taking on an APS-C camera, but so far, it's just fantastic for my style of shooting. I don't particularly care about resolution, pixel peeping, and a laundry list of features, but I do care about ergonomics and being able to get images that make me want to shoot more, however intangible that criteria might be. With that in mind, the XT-2 is hitting all of the marks for me.
Thanks again for the encouragement!

Thanks, Jordan. I had the X-T2 for a bit... loved it. Maybe going back to it.
