Impressions from Mamiya 7 and Hasselblad Users

When I went to Machu Picchu, there was a guy doing the 4-day hike with a Rolleiflex MF with lenses, etc.. total weight was 6 kilos. He needed a porter to take his other stuff like clothing, etc. I cant imagine hiking and stopping all the time for 4-5 minutes to set up everything to take a shot and keep going at 4000mts.
I would go for a Mamiya 6-7 or a Bronica RF645. if you get the mamiya I recomend you get this neopren cover, it fits like a glove.

If you're going to continue with the Leicas and 4x5, the question is which of those do you want to cut into? Medium RFs cut into the Leica's role and the Hassy overlaps the 4x5.

MF satisfies most of my "high quality" needs and has cut into my 4x5 use. The RF 6x6/7 are cumbersome Leicas; so if I have something that requires a quick, light camera, I go 35mm. I believe that's why big RF use is more limited. A leica/hassy combo covers a lot of purposes.

PS: I'd love to have a mam 7, too.
