In Laos with film Leica M

I did a week long motorcycle journey through Laos two years ago. It was my first trip with the M9 (sold last week). I really enjoyed the country as it is the least touristy in SE Asia (among Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos).

I want to go back. I rented the Honda XR250 from a expat Texan living in Vientiane. And met a couple crazy Canadians who had not ridden in a couple decades (one with his Chinese mistress on the back). It was a fun trip.

Now I need to do it with a film Leica. And your photos are great!

totally agree;
even though recently I purchased a Nikon 5000 to handle full roll scanning, I still found that a time consuming job.
now, I just get my developed films (b/w) scanned the lab; and only re-scan best frames with my Nikon.
may be I should buy a Pakon

Definitely recommend a Pakon. Even the F135 non-plus makes scanning 35mm a breeze, although if you can swing the plus version, it is even faster.

Go ahead! From what I see, the roads have been improved over the years and it must be more comfortable to ride a motorcycle nowadays. And, for sure, having a film Leica and a motorcycle, what else do you need for a nice road trip??
