industar-50...35mm version?

Hello.
I know the industar-50 is a zeiss copy, not a leica copy. I love this lens, I have the collapsible version.
Question is, did they ever make a 35mm version and knock off the look of the leica 35(i have the summaron, an oldie but goodie)

the J-12 is so deep, i'm wondering if there are other options.

The I-50 is indeed more of a Tessar than an Elmar...the position of the diaphragm is one clue. 😀

The only readily available (and the only one, unless there were prototypes lurking somewhere) LTM 35mm from the Soviets was the J-12. Its abilities as a lens should more than make up for its mass...it could match the summaron or even do better. Got a summaron myself, but I like the J-12 better. 🙂
