So those are not photos of the actual camera huh? If he stole two photos, I bet he stole the otehr two too. I'll also bet that the actual camera is filthy, has a dented lens barrel, has clawed up leatherette, and/or has scratches and rub marks all over the metal.

This part's priceless: "As a side note, the Minolta 7sII and Konica S3 are so similar in size and features, I can't help but wonder if they had the same designer or even came out of the same factory." Yep; I think it's pretty safe to say that they both came out of the Konica-Minolta factory.

The Minolta uses a cemented pair for the front of the finder that hazed over on mine. Could not be cleaned easily. the Konica uses an air gap between them, far enough apart to slip some lens cleaning paper into. The finders are not as good as the Canonet QL17l and QL17 GIII. Neither is as heavily made as the Canon, and you can expect more mechanical problems like gears stripping.

Cute little cameras with decent lenses. By a CL with a 40/2 for about the same price.

Maybe he promised to put it up on ebay, to the wife.

I do wonder though when the FF digital 7siii will be released ....

I missed the initial listing before it got cranked. How much was he gouging...er, asking for the Hi-Matic? If it's anything close to the total of the parts he's trying to sell off, he may have found a career far more lucrative than actually working. Assuming anyone would buy..

That's like old tale about guy selling turkey on market.
- How much do you want for it?
- Thousand
- Wow, that's a lot! Why so much?
- Need money
