Inspection tag

Bought a blue velvet Nikkor "5cm F2 for Leica" box, inside was an aluminum screw top lens can (what I was after), inside that was a wad of tissue paper in the top, and under the tissue paper I found this tag.

Now, the real hunt begins...

Now we know 50080119 is in screw-mount and was inspected by Mr. Watanabe on December 27th 1950. Between Christmas and New year!
That dates it during the occupation.

The box wasn't in front of me when I typed the first post.

Why would Nikon use 'mm' on the box but 'cm' on the tag?

Just about all lenses from Rangefinder era are in centimeters.
Such things can infect the Nikon collector with all kinds of NAS(Nikon Acquisition Syndrome).
