No mention of a black version in the press release, only 'steel'. But rest assured, if you want a black version, you only need to wait an extra year and a limited edition black version will appear, complete with fancy box, filter, leather case and strap.
This camera sounds so good, but I'm just really wary of this X-Trans sensor. I'm yet to see a good raw processing solution that doesn't involve Silkypix (ugh) or a chain of obscure converters and sharpeners.
The digital split screen sounds intriguing, and the much improved video mode might be a winner. If Adobe can produce good results with X-Trans files, then I might consider upgrading.
