Is it hot or what?

gb hill, you're hanging out in my birth town!

I saw a sign today that said it was 101 degrees, 40 miles west of the Camel City in NC.

Man it feels good not being cold.

Last year our hottest day was 43 C (109 F), this year is supposed to be even hotter with predictions to 45 C. Today was a mild 37 C (98 F)

Last week was hot and humid...

...peaking Friday with 36°Celsius (97°Fahrenheit) here in my neck of the woods in the land of the canucks.

Sunday (yesterday) it was 27°Celsius (80°Fahrenheit).
Sunday (last) night we had a Thunderstorm...
Monday (this) morning at 11:40AM Eastern it is a mere 18°Celcius (64°Fahrenheit)...

Canada has some big circle crazy weather as of late.

Today - it's not hot enough for me... but last week... it was one hell of a hot and humid week... that I can most assuredly do without.

I think the one of the hottest places is Seville, Southern Spain, last Sunday 43ºC (109.4ºC) due to a African air current, very usual, the worst is at night, trying to sleep at 30-35ºC), today it's a "cold summer day, just 33ºC (91.4F)

Spent the weekend at the beach house (Hilton Head), only hit around 90 or so, but the humidity was killer!

I was in Burlington Vermont this weekend and it was 83, sunny and dry. There was a really nice breeze coming off lake champlain. It WAS Awesome!

During the summer of 1980 I was overseas but back here in North Texas it was 69 consecutive days of 104+ degree days with humidity levels nearing 70% and the lows at night were between 85-90 degrees.

We normally have 100+ degrees with high humidity during July - late Sept. but so far partly because of all the rain we got we've only hit a high of 97 degrees.

I don't handle heat very well.

I've been a cranky camper lately, but I keep checking the weather in san fran and counting down the days before I move out there.
