Is my aperture not opening up all the way?

Voigtlander Super Wide Heliar 15mm f/4.5 lI.

When the aperture is set to f/4.5 - "wide open" - it looks as if the blades arent opening all the way to the edges, almost as if when set to 4.5, it's a couple stops more closed down. Is this normal on the VM 15mm II ?

Also, the lens barrel/body has a fair bit of play and wobble. As well as the focus feeling suuuuper gluey and sticky and definitely not smooth. Are these normal quirks on the 15mm Il too ?

Focus should be smooth, the aperture looks normal to me (the lens is probably faster but has build in limitations to improve quality „wide open“).

I don't know about the aperture, since I haven't used that lens; but NO lens should have ANY play or wobble. Ever. If you just bought it, return it. Especially if you bought it new.

Try shooting with another lens with aperture set to 4.5 and properly set shutter speed then compare that image with this lens set to 4.5...exposure should look the same...
