I shamefully admit the only camera I carry with me all the time is my phone. If I'm driving somewhere more than 20 or 30 miles I usually bring my electro gsn or a minolta slr along.

There is no category for digital rangefinder- I usually carry my Rd-1 and/or GRD so I ticked small digital camera.

Steve

Lately it's been my Bessa L with 25/4, but most days it's a Canonet QL17GIII. Film can be anything, color & B&W.

Ricoh GR1s (film not digital), pocket, case or bag. Can you get anything smaller?

Except for this, probably not. But the Ricoh's more fun to use.

Mine's still on the DL for the moment. What I'm using now is a Contax Tvs. A bit bigger, but wonderful in its own right.

I have belt pouches for both cameras, So my one-liner to Galfriend is "No, the camera's in the pouch. But I'm still happy to see you." :D

I carry a film camera 90% of the time (mostly my M6), but I have my iPhone with me 100% of the time, and it's the latest model, which has a surprisingly great camera in it.

I've got a Nikon P5100 with me all the time.. It has taken over the role the Minox 35 and the MjuII had before it.

The P5100 isn't perfect, but then again the MjuII and Minox aren't either. If only I could throw all three of them in a bag, hussle it a bit, and got a camera out with the size and flexibility of the P5100, the finder and manual focus of the Minox and the aspheric lens of the MjuII.. Then that'd be the ultimate carry in your pants pocket camera..

I always have a film camera with me.

In my workbag, I always have my M2 and an old plastic Sekonic lightmeter. If I have tons of papers to haul that day, then I'll either substitute the M2 with a Rollei 35 (loaded with Trix) or a Mju-II (usually slide film).

It's rare when I don't have a camera with me either in a nondescript messenger bag or backpack. I switch off between 35mm rangefinders and MF rangefinders. I spend a lot of time walking or using a variety of forms of public transit around the city. Lots of opportunities for photos of all manner of subjects.

I won't buy a jacket without a secure inside chest pocket, where I always carry
one of my compact 35mm cameras, for whenever photographic opportunities arise.

My pocket camera collection currently includes Contax T, Konica Big Mini, Minox 35ML, Olympus XA, XA2,
XA3, Stylus and Stylus Epic, Pentax UC-1, Petri Color 35, Sears mini 35 (Ricoh FF-1s) cameras, etc.

I take my Domke bag with Pentax SLR system when I plan to do "serious photography",
but the pocket cameras actually account for the majority of my photos.

For about five years I carried a Minox AX loaded with fuji 800 color film.
That was truly a pocket camera that I carried absolutely every where.
But with the arrival of digital, I slowly lost the habit.

Now it's a E-P1 : last year it was a GRDII.
But neither of those get to as many places as the Minox.

For me, much of the time I will have along a Leica D-Lux 3 or D-Lux 4; or when it needs to be even smaller, a Nikon S5. The latter is smaller than a Blackberry and fits in a shirt pocket. The quality of these tiny cameras is amazingly good. They see a lot more use than my D200, on account of the latter being so large, heavy, and clunky. The Blackberry of course has a camera, but I don't take it seriously. I ought to at least try it, I guess!

My Retina IIa is my "serious" pocket camera which I carry the most, but my Stylus Epic gets some use too...

been trying to get myself to buy another small digital for the last two years... just can't do it...
