When I know there's going to be something interesting to shoot, I usually lug along my M3. If it's just a normal day, I carry a Lomo LC-A or something similar just in case something interesting happens...

I love the Contax T.

It's a compact, manual focusing RF with a fantastic Zeiss Sonnar 38mm lens. What more could you ask for?

Lately it's been my M6 with Canon 50 1.4 and my Rollei MX-EVS. My oldest son bought me a 50D, but I have yet to use it. He is currently in Afghanistan on assignment and expects me to have put it to some use when he returns in three months. Guess I'll have to give it a shot soon.

I ordered a lens from KEH recently and saw they had a $6 xa2, as well. Ever since I got the camera [xa2], I've been carrying it with me when I go out...I didn't realize it would be *that* small.

My wife tells me I'm sick. Everyday for more than 5 years I've gone out of the house with either my Billingham or Kata bag. I haven't been able to only bring the D Lux 4 or 3 by themselves. (Indeed I am sick.)

I have always a Lumix FX37 at my side. If I am in the mood for film but don't want to carry around a big cam, I take an Oly 35RC with me, loaded with BW400CN.
Sometimes a Yashi Electro 35GS. If I carry more, I have the stuff in a bag.

Ah, I forgot, my Minox 35GL serves pretty well as a daily cam.

In my vehicle I always have at least one camera. My old Fuji S7000 lives there permanently, as does an Olympus AF-1 p&s. Most days I carry the Pentax K10D and a camera of choice, whether it be RF or LF, but it's not left in the vehicle. My personal camera that is always in my pocket and goes everywhere I go, is my phone. Only 2mp but adequate if something happens in front of me.

Oh, and you CAN drive and take pictures :)

A Rollei 35S usually in the back pocket of my Levis, though I have to take it out into sit down comfortably -- usually at a cafe next to my book and coffee and journal, in place of a mobile phone. At the very cool Blue Bottle Cafe here South of Market -- where the coffees are described in prose usually applied to characters in a novel -- my friend said the Rollei was being cooly noticed by all the coffee drinkers around us.

The 35S is rangefinderless, so to set it for 3 feet, I stretch out my hand and add a bit to that, and for six feet I take an imaginary dive forward.

I carry two -- a small point & shoot digital and a camera phone.

However, I never use the camera phone because the image quality is too low and it is too difficult and too expensive to transfer the images from my phone to my computer.

My M8 and Ricoh GR2 both go with me everywhere. Either in my hand or in a sweet Kodak Instant Camera Tote from the 70's that I use instead of the ugly modern bags. I put my SLR gear in those ; -)

Daily basis: my Nikon F3 or Fe2 - since two weeks it got replaced by a Contax G2 which was lent to me. But the viewfinder is squinty and the AF makes the whole camera a bit pointandshootish...

Still looking for that fast (!) and sexy camera to carry around- and can't afford a leica yet....

luging your camera around is a fashion statement, isn't it?
Last year it was the Kiev 60 that accompanied me everywhere. that was a conversation starter;) - size does matter...

I always have my XA loaded with Tri-x with me.

I have been keeping one in my car. Even with flash it is small and easy to carry.

I also often have a Sony W50. Sorry to say the LCD got damaged, but I still have the viewfinder.

Folders and the Canonet are other favorites to have along. Cameras have to stay in my car as they aren't permitted at my work. If I ever go back to commuting, I won't have anything but my cell phones.

I normally take a SLR and small lens with me, either a Minolta Dynax 5 or a Minolta X-500 with a small prime. Both are lighter then my rangefinder.
