Is their any Ilford XP2 Super love out there?

I do quite like Ilford XP2 actually - here are some shots with Minolta Maxxum 700Si

So just to repeat my initial question, what are people rating XP2 at? I suspect it's not box speed (based on my own very disappointing 400 results)

I like the results very much when I tried it a couple of times. My prints show a much more pronounced sepia tint than the examples shown here so far.

Assuming that you got your roll printed and developed at a photo lab, what you need to do is to tell your lab technician that he needs to change the printer settings to monochrome. It's also likely that the printer they use needs a thorough cleaning. Changing sharpness setting to +1 also renders better results with this film.

This just went out in a standard C-41 process bag printed as color I assume... but i like the result though😉.

I dislike it. It's the most digital looking of films. Too smooth and plastic looking. If you don't overexpose it the shadows show grain like color c41. But when you give it enough exposure to tame the shadow grain, the tonal curve gets shot to hell and it looks flat and gray, or "creamy" if you like that look. But I don't. When I shoot film, it's to avoid this sort of look so I prefer HP5+ in D76, for example. Since you asked 🙂
