Is there a camera you like so much that you have more than one of the same model?

I have 2 PentaxP3n(s) which is not a very exciting camera. But it is small, very small for a SLR, I am one with the meter (ei I like the meter), it is light, has a great viewfinder with a split image center, AV, TV, Manual and Auto, I bought the first new, but the second for $10.00, all, and I mean all, of my Leica TMLs (macro), m42s, and K-mounts fit on it. There are a few cons: no PC only hot shoe, DX code only (so I scratch and tape alot).

Look at it next to my Pentax 6x7:

I like those old worthless Leica IIIC`s with the raised platform under the rewind lever, something we lovers call "Stepper`s" :D
*I have 7 of those ole junkers now - see below - YOU HAVE TO HAVE 10 OR MORE BEFORE THEY CONSIDER YOU A COLLECTOR - so that only leaves space for 2 more!!!*

LOL!!!!!

The only camera I have two of is Olympus OM ... an OM-1 and an OM-2. Affordabillity plays a large part in answering the OP's original query ... !

I guess the M2 and M3 are nearly one and the same and I have one of each of those ... having two M8's would be nice so I didn't have to change lenses when I'm shooting a paid gig ... but that's about as likely as 'Dubya' taking the rumoured guest roll on 'Boston Legal!'

I like how you think

I like how you think

9 Nikon F? Excellent. And 2009 is the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the Nikon F. Well done.

Bob (1 '64 F, 1 red dot F, various lenses, cases, meters, and literature)

Let's talk about serious craziness.
9 Nikon F, first true love.
2 M3
3 M6
7 Exactas. Just a little crazy. Joe

The BARNACK TYPES.

10 original (real Leica, one of which is a IIIc stepper with inverted loading diagram),

2 from Canon,

and somewhere between 60 and 70 of the FED-1 and Zorki-1 Soviet Barnacks.

4x Leicas: III, IIIa and 2x IIIc
2x Kodak Medalists I (though I don't use them very often because of the film respooling)
3x Kodak 35 (RF, PH-324 and regular 35)

Contax RTSIII x 3 to ensure lifelong enjoyment of my CZ C/Y optics, although I always use my Aria. :) Contax T x 3 for part-swapping. and because the electronics can croak.

My twins:
- OM-2ns: love their compact form & functionailty
- Nikon F70: PSAM, spot metering, robust & bang for the buck
- Fed 3s: the first one had a light leak, but loved its heft & handling so got another

Used to have a pair of:
- Kiev-4s: loved their form factor but could not get the first to work reliablily, and neither would the second... so off they went.
- OM-1: traded 2 beaters for 1 mint copy.

I used to own 6 Nikon F's - all with plain prism's. Used to own multiple FE2's
and FM2's.

Shot weddings for years using a pair of Rolleicord Vb's (sniff sniff, I loved my rolleicord Vb's). One prism, two bodies, 12 exposures each....stroboframe with a Rolleifix to quickly swap bodies...the German glass was 'sharp, yet smooth...'

Used to own multiple C-330's and multiple C-220's.

Owned multiple Koni-Omega Rapid's (probably THE most awsome cameras I ever owned).

Currently have multiple Olympus dSLR's and multiple Rollei 35's. Many multiple Konica 35mm bodies and (almost) all the Hexanon single focal length primes...some are duplicated.

There were lots and lots of one-off's over the years, too, like a Yashica 635 (that I just loved) a Yashica 124-G, Nikon F3HP, Hexar AF (I have another on the way). Various Rolleiflex's, various fixed lens RF's (wonder where they went). And even a Koni-Omegaflex outfit (the 6x7 TLR MONSTER camera), Oh, and a "Keith" twin lens studio camera with a home-made parralax cam and an absolutely incredible 140mm Kodak Commercial Ektar lens!! Also: Mamiya 6 RF with the 50 and 75mm lenses (also used for weddings)...lot's of Zeiss Ikon 6x9 folders, Olympus XA2, "Hit" toy cameras, Graphlex 4x5's Graphlex 35's Linhof 6x9's, a 4x5 Omega....Kowa 66, Norita 66...

Ahhhhh....
That's where my life's fortunes' went!!
