maybe i missed it...is there a published plan of fuji's showing what lenses they will produce next?
as much as i would like to buy a pro-x i wonder about the focal lengths that will be available.
i currently have 2 digital systems on the go, both with 1.5 crop factor...i must admit that 28mm is not to my liking, i love the 40 and 50 and zooms are completely unappreciated. if i'm going to use longer lenses it seems to make sense to use the dslr...that leaves the 40/50 for the drf. (also the wide 21mm)
i liked the 23/35 on the x100.
it doesn't really make any sense to get a pro-x...does it?
the x100 is attractive mostly because of the size and the af.

definitely using my CV28/3.5 instead of that, however good it might be. The CV is sharp, fast to focus, small, focus by feel with the tab, no aperture "chattering", long enough not to have any issues with wide M lenses on the fuji sensor, wide enough to make zone focusing by feel practical.
Not sacrificing all that for half a a stop of brightness
Same for the 23/2. I'm keeping my x100 for that, I always need a silent camera anyway and you never know when the monstrous flash sync will come handy.
As for the 14 I'm not interested, 28fov is as wide as I go and the 18/2 looks good enough to me, especially stopped down.
And the zooms...
what is zoom?
I think I'm good with what fuji is already offering plus my Ms.

i love the rd1 and the images it makes...but i am having more problems with manual focus lately. this past saturday i missed shots that i normally wouldn't have due to my slow focussing. the dslr has made it more clear that i will be needing af sooner than later.

Have you checked out the M lenses test before the image were taken down due to bandwidth problem?

Both Leica's 28 and 35 show corner smearing, so you might want to stick with Fuji's lenses.

No I didnt actually... but I'm about to find out, just picked up my XP1 and the adaptor is in the mail.
After using the camera I would need the 35 and I'd be happy.

Didn't you read the other RFF thread? Image quality doesn't matter. If there was an interchangeable-lens digital Diana, that would be the camera to have. Ask Juan.

I'd take the 14 and the 12-24, but I'm interested in how they deal with the viewfinder issue for those wideangles.

I've been trying to decide if I should just get the 35 & 60 now, skip the 18, and wait for the 14. Just don't know when the 14 will actually drop or if it will be better than the 18 WRT edge performance.
Later I would pick up the 23 and 72-200 when available.
If it will be late 2012 for the 14 (and it probably will) I cant see going that long without a wide solution. So, will likely end up buying the 18 and selling it at a loss when the 14 is available if it is equal to or better than the 18...

Excited about that Pancake lens... wish they would have released it at launch as a kit.

So we gotta wait a year for the "35mm" (i.e. 23mm) - ok.. I guess.. I'd only be interested in that and the 14mm - I'm with Spyro - what's a zoom? *LOL*
I think I'll seriously be selling one of my D700's because of this camera now.. I like it that much...

I suppose the 14mm will come with a separate optical hotshoe viewfinder?
I might get that lens, but as for now I'm happy with only the 35. I may get tempted to pick up the 60, but then I would need to carry a bag after all and if so I may as well carry the D700 instead.
I only want the Xpro over my shoulder with whatever extra fits in my pocket.

Tim, not half bad - I posted a bunch on my facebook page - here's a shot using it at ISO 6400 - just to test the "high ISO" of the camera - with standard "0" noise reduction (fyi NR can be turned down two levels to "-2" if necessary):
