Is there an extra zero in this price?

Looking at the photo of the aperture blades I would not agree to the condition "new" but nice lens, nevertheless ! 🙂

Brueguet kind of specializes in rare, and mint items. I've never seen a complete kit for the Nikkor 1.1 before, just a lens, though I did find a lens cap once. Their inventory stickers are probably the easily removable type, and a little cleaning will remove any residue from the leather. They couldn't command the prices they ask without taking such things into consideration.

I'm a fan of this particular Fuji LTM, but I couldn't see myself going over $3.5k USD for it if I had the money.

I'd place it roughly on par with a very nice Nikkor f/1.1 and below a comparable Noctilux f/1.0 honestly.

I've been trying to find out more about the LTM 5/1.1, and haven't found much. There's a bit on the Cameraquest website, an old thread on this forum, and a page in RR's book. Only 211 were made it seems, and possibly less finders. No photos of this 2 piece back cap though.

That gokevin feller has a couple of front caps he's asking over $500 apiece for. Sheeze, I wish I had bought that cap I found. Wasn't there the next time I looked.

I thought arsenal had a complete kit for sale last year, where I saw the rear lens cap. That lens cap had a threaded platform for screwing on the viewfinder, and then a cap that covered the viewfinder.

I thought it was very neat.

So no one was really interested in the lens, lens cap and finder, only the asking price... 😀

OK then...

Here are photos of that kit, a bargain at only 16,000 EUR

Thanks Vick. That's a very neat arrangement for storing the finder. Condition looks extremely good. A comparative bargain, as you say, though it doesn't have the hood and cases!

I just hope whoever buys it uses it as it was meant to be used. Sort of apples and oranges, but there are far too many classic Ferrari's dying slow deaths, holed up in some garage and never seeing the open road.

ha ha.
I have the finder.
I've been waiting to get the lens.
I have the S mount versions of the lens, and yes, they are very good image drawers. Lovely bokeh.
