Is this fungus in my rangefinder?

Doesn't look like fungus to me. Sort of looks like scratches, perhaps someone tried cleaning?
The VF does appear slightly hazy overall though. Not bad, something many would live with.
If you opt for cleaning the VF, unless you're somewhat accomplished in camera repair, and know the vulnerabilities of the RF mechanism, I would have it cleaned by a competent repair technician. Do try to locate a *competent* tech. Might not be as cheap as the corner repair-all guy, but rangefinders are not what many of those folks get as typical fodder.

Thanks! Do you think it's repairable or something I'd have to live with? Could it just be dust? I'm relieved that it doesn't look like fungus.
The rangefinder is much clearer than the photo. I think I have grease on my iPhone lens and I was shooting against direct light in the window so that the marks were visible.
We do have a great tech not too far away, but given the skyrocketing price of these things I'm considering selling mine. Should I just ask for a complete CLA if I do send it in?

I wouldn’t stress about that at all.. Seeing as how it’s a 40 year old camera if all you’ve got is a few scratches, I’d just let it go and enjoy the thing. Wait until you actually need a CLA and then have them look at the viewfinder issue as well.
But to answer your question, it does not look like fungus. I picked up a camera recently that had a similar viewfinder situation, I think it’s just a sign of age and probably a fair amount of use(which in my eyes is a good thing.) As long as the patch is still nice and contrasty and the shutter speeds are accurate, shoot away.
