Iskra Question

I have just got an Iskra folder and put a roll of film through it (not yet developed). It was a rare camera in that the film counter is still working.

After I finished the roll and removed the film, the shutter is still cocked. How do I now fire the shutter without a film in (a pic of what to press would be helpful)? I hear that it's possible and I don't want to leave the shutter under tension until I use another roll.

In spite of what a photo I posted some time ago about showing my frustration with the
camera , it has a great lens. On the front lower left hand side ( as the lens faces you ) can you not just trip the shutter lever with a finder nail ? Peter

Thank for the link and smart response. I had searched for quite somtime on various sites during the afternoon and couldn't find the answer. I had found this page earlier but it doesn't answer the question as I still cannot see what I have to do.

^ As per my earlier remark , if you look at the camera with the lens facing you, you should notice the lever coming from the lens assembly ( it's around 7:00 oclock ). Simply
push this lever up gently and the shutter should fire. Peter
