Canon LTM isn't it cute?

"... 2 cameras, several small lenses, lots of film, and a table-top tripod... and go a'wandering..."

You must live in the Brooks Range of Alaska, or Skagway. Those lil' tripods are all over the place. I won't quote the retail price. I don't want you to lose any sleep over it...

That tripod, combined with this high tech rangefinder flash unit (picture attached) will be perfect for the upcoming holiday family pictures. Starting bid is $100.00, or the lowly BIN price tag of $23.72 US currency. I'll be expecting your payment soon. And not in Canadian dollars...

You'd better contact off-group. This will save you considerable embarrassment and ridicule from us, more asture, members....

Joe, if thats the one that folds flat, I want it!!!! Should I send my address???

OH! Those Tripods! Yes, I got a number of them with the Nikon AF P&S cameras that I gave away as Christmas Presnts 12 years ago. Amazing, stamp Canon on them and they are worth something.

The CANONATOR WILL CRUSH IT!!! It will not allow itself to be seen on a "Girly Tripod". It does not do CUTE!!!

That's odd. I've also given a few away. But the one's with the Canon name on it, I can't pay anyone to take. As for the Nikon branded ones, they're in hot demand. I've also got data, that confirms that the Nikon branded ones, make for sharper images. Regardless of which camera brand you mount on them....

( the attached photo is of a Kodak branded one, holding the Ricoh FF-1 rig)

they are useful!

they are useful!

Actually, i have a similar one - the tabletop of Manfrotto. But it is extremely sturdy, and i use it alot. I'm not a bird photographer, but the 135/2.8 (my longest lens currently) on the minolta af slr is stable enough with this little pod.
I also use it with tlr's. When put on the ground, it gives a nice perspective:) (no, i don't mean it with girl-subjects, i mean like this ). The WLF makes it comfortable for use.

the tripod finally showed in today's mail. very small, very light - hardly weighs in at all.

i must admit to feeling a bit foolish, i thought it was made from metal not plastic. in the pics it looked metal to me.
should be fine for the bessa and maybe the canon in a pinch.

I have the Manfrotto that Pherdinand has and it's a great tripod. I have a tiny Slik ballhead that goes on it too - what a really useful combination!

I also have this little plastic one from somewhere - weighs nothing but can be useful in a pinch.
