it was a year ago today...

It is a joyous day Joe! Best wishes and best of health (So the black ZI is kind of like a new nurse then: keeps an eye on ou, makes sure you get your exercise, keeps your sirits high, etc. Maybe the Alberta medical system should be picking up the bill for it, or at least giving you some kind of tax rebate.:D)

best of health, joe. have you learned to love oatmeal, yet? Or maybe that should "eh" instead of "yet".

yeah, I remember the night that your absence was noted on RFF and Gman had the cops break in.. it was an odd and tense discussion here

glad that you're still around, joe.. and obviously your condition hasn't seriously impacted your GAS ;)

wow, my heart is filled with all kinds of good feelings this morning!!

many thanks for the kind words. as i have stated before, this place is like a sanctuary for me. i love coming here and talking about gear and images with people that don't get that blank look in their eyes everytime i mention a camera! ;)

yeah, it was a pretty strange time, reading the forum when i got back from the hospital, finding out that g'man had sent the local law into my place to find me. i had forgotten about my rant instigated by spam in my blog.
and yes, things are much better this year, eating better, more and longer walks with the dog and i started a nutrition class last night. who knows, i might be skinny again sometime in the future!! lol!

you guys are great!

Glad you're with us Joe.

BTW. The police department didn't have an officer to spare for your celebration. ;)
Sounds like somebody's going to have to dress like one and come out of a cake.

That's the best idea so far, although we should remember that with Joe's original condition, such stimulation should be moderated ;)

Continued good health Joe !!!

Congratulations, Joe, on another year well-lived (perhaps better lived?). And here's to many more years to come with lots of enjoyable interaction with those close to you, including your many friends here on the forum.

Best,
Randy

Joe,
I had no idea,it was before I found the Forum.
Good on you Joe!!,and best wishes from the Welsh side of the UK.
Brian.

We all love you, Joe. Just never come to a restaurant I cook in once I'm out of school...I'd accidently kill you with all the butter I use in some of my sauces. :D
