Dear Folks:
Here is another interesting lens in my collection for the last little while. I have three pictures attached (and I will attach more over the next few days). Here is some info on this lens.
a) Lens head is marked 10,5cm f 3.5 Tessar and is not coated.
b) Barrel is marked with "C.O.M.A.F." and Italic "Bectar" together with the barrel serial number (different from lens head).
c) there is a engraving "Now" filled in white around the rim of the lens head.
d) the lens has rangefinder coupling cam.
I was told by a camera expert (luigi Crescenti) in Italy that C.O.M.A.F. was an Italian camera distributor and Mr. Crescenti himself has never seen this conversion.
I am wondering if this lens was an adapation of a Zeiss enlarging lens on a custom made barrel or not. The markings are interesting enough to start a new thread.
