It's 2014, are you still using film?

My basic rule is that I shoot film in natural light and digital in indoor/low light. Since the fastest film I use is 400 ISO, the awesome high-ISO of digital has been a huge help when shooting in low light situations. I feel like this is a good mix.

Pretty much all digital with a light sprinkling of film in between. I would say 5% mainly.

I started digital, and since switching to film, I have no desire to go back to digital. If film suddenly disappeared, I'm not sure how much I would even pursue photography (or at least initially). It's largely about the process, right down to the small but satisfying use of the film advance lever...so yes, many intangibles.

And then there is the very pertinent fact that an affordable (in relation to my financial status) digital rangefinder does not exist, at least not yet.

I've been scanning my photos, but this year, once I get relocated and a little more stabilized, I will begin making wet prints. Looking forward to this new phase.

when bought my m9 i made 75 film 25 digital, i was about to sell the m9 but i gave it another try since then film is in the fridge...with the dp merrill arrival film has just been used only to test some cameras i trade...

Have to say that the foveon sensor rivals film and exceeds it in many ways...

I think there's a lot more digital being shot around here than film these days .. you wouldn't think that by looking at the poll results though which indicates to me that the results are skewed in the same way that many of our polls are!

I will Agree with those about the Foveon sensor...in b&w the rendering is utterly Sublime
The Detail and Clarity to that sensor is Magnificent ... The photos emanate a Rich lustre unlike any other in the digi World
may try the DP1m one day (probably more keepers for street and less blurry photos with a 28 pov)
but right now I need to get some satisfaction so Film will do !

Spot on! Although I'm 100% digital for professional reasons, I can't get beyond my connection to mechanical cameras for personal shooting. No matter how far technology stumbles forward t's really the one area a digital body will (probably) never come close to besting the old.

All film. All developed in my basement (B&W, C-41, and E6). I gave my digital camera (X-Pro1) to my dad on long-term loan; no sense in having it sit around doing nothing.

I took advantage of B&H's end-of-year package deal on the nex7 + 2 lenses. I took it out a couple times, did not postprocess one image from it yet. Mostly my kid has been using it.

So I said 100% film. ;-)

- I just mix some pure alcohol into grape juice - absolutely no-one can tell the difference.

- None of the kids I know have even tried wine. When this generation of wine-drinkers die off then it's all over for the wine-producers. Fact.

- I still prefer wine, but alcohol-soda is the future, so last year I switched. No going back.

- It's been getting harder and harder for me to find decent vintages in my local stores these days, and prices are just going higher and higher. I'm also tired of all the time spent in the dark cellar choosing the right bottle, so in 2014 I'll be going over 100% to alcopops. I don't think the quality is the same, but I can drink much more for the same price, and just opening a can is way more convenient than messing around uncorking bottles.

Would love to try digital, but the right camera has not come along yet. We were getting close for a while, but not so anymore, so I have little hope.

I'm stuck with film for the time being, but I was happy to pack up my darkroom a few years ago and move to digital for printing.

Why go in the bother of mixing ? Just take a syringe with needle,A grapefruit or Orange. Inject some "Viru valge" ( estonian stuff) or real Koskenkorva in the fruit, go wherever you like, a bar/restorant/ nightclub...peel your fruit and get stone drunk. That`s what real Pro`s do it over here ( Helsinki)

Not too concerned with which medium.
If I were to take the time to analyze it, probably 80-90 % film and the rest digital.
