I like this. I'll have to give it a try. Does it take input of other file formats besides DNG?
/T
I usually take a single DNG file, process it into 3 JPGs at +2, 0, -2 EV then use them in Photomatix. I think you can use other standard picture formats also but it certainly works with JPGs.

Keith sent me the DNG file I asked him for, I have made a little pictorial on how to improve M8 shots with Photoshop. In the case of the file he sent me, creating a second shot and merging them in layers was all it took.
No need to buy any other software, just stick to the appropriate procedure to get the job done.
The thread is in the M8 section, called "improving M8 shots with PhotoShop"
Hope it helps.

The best camera is one that still works!
As an interesting post script to this thread I just submitted the images a day or so ago from the gallery opening shoot to the curator at QUT who promptly slotted the disc straight into her computer so she could check them!
I finished up with eighty one images that took a lot of blood sweat and tears and left me feeling a little ho hum ... but she absolutely loved them!
Go figure!

Ya.. but what does the customer know, they sometimes can’t tell what type of lens you used

This woman takes no prisoners ... on a previous shoot I accidentally omitted one of the video screens and was dragged over the coals for my mistake somewhat!

Some people feel that there is a certain type of Australian career women can be quite challenging to deal with… I have customers over there so couldn’t possibly comment
PS I did once spend quite a bit of time in the pre-PC days airbrushing “distracting details” from some prints
