I should check my calendar site more often, as I'm just now finding out at 2:00pm EDST it is National Camera Day. Got to head out and take some exposures before it gets really cloudy.
I grabbed the Z50 with 18-140mm and headed out to the Falls Ridge Nature Reserve only to find it was closed. The back-up location wound up being the rail crossing at Ironto, VA where I got this image of the shale that had to be cut through for the rail line.
