Just picked up a genuine fuji x pro 1 grip for £31 so I am a bit chuffed:)I know it might be a pain that to access the battery you have to take off the grip but I will just have to put up with that. When I used to own Pentax Lx thy used to handle better with the grips so Im looking forward to fitting a grip on my x pro 1. Does anyone else have a grip fitted to there fuji if so how do you find it

I have cheap Chinese grips on the Fuji and Merrill cameras. I had to take the grip part off of the X Pro 1 as it just wasn't comfortable to hold. I use it for the vertical and horizontal Arca style QR. The ones I use do allow access to battery and sd card.

I use the original fuji grip (like yours). On day to day usage, I find it to be no bother, I use a large enough card, so the only time I need to remove it is to change batteries or to unload files. I did, however, find myself with a blinking red battery a few hours into a shoot and had to be quick to change it, and the grip did make itself a nuisance at the time. Very seldom occurrence though, and I like the rubberized bottom for setting it on rough surfaces and find the added grip excellent.

I liked the Fuji grip (old style) on my gone X-E2, so I suspect I will like the same thing on my X-Pro1. Paid $42.

Ishoot is fine, but a little bit on the large side. The original grip is smaller, but nice to handle, and changing the battery is not that much of an issue.
