Two from the last roll I processed. I am actually testing different films with Blazinal (Rodinal). Both photos are ZI with C-Biogon 35mm on Ilford Pan F in 1:50. I should probably say that 50 ISO is pretty useless film in Newfoundland because bright sunny days are few and far between. It's 0C and a -6C windchill at the moment.

Helen,
I really like your shot "a Distant City." Elevated rail (MTA?), old industrial buildings, parking lots, water towers, distant cityscape, moody atmospherics, and some really good compositional elements. I feel like I could be in a borough anytime from the 1950's until today.
Was this a shot that you've planned out or just a spur of the moment capture? Either way kudos on a great shot.

Oh Hello 'huddy'
Thank you for commenting...Lovely
It was just one of those mornings where the Sky beckoned
Some fog, mist, light breaking thru
And I thought what will this Look like
with a somewhat Modern Lens
shooting my TriX @320
Happilyfor me it maintained the retro moody industrial 'feel'
Cheers & Best to You - H

I for the first time developed some HP5+ @1600 in Rodinal 1:50. That is, hands down, my new favourite high speed combination.

Just got my first roll of color back with my C-Biogon and I'm really loving it. I find it to not be that sharp, but I'm pretty sure that's more to do with my scanning technique than the lens itself. That said, here's what I've got!

Voigtlander hood works!

I just got my 'new' C Biogon from popflash today. I'll be using it on the Fuji X-pro1, giving me an equivalent 53mm lens.
In case no one has mentioned this before, I just discovered that the my Voigtlander LH-6 lens hood (for their 40mm Nokton lens) fits on the C Biogon perfectly! Hallelujah... I don't have to buy the Zeiss version!

Thanks! Ektar can do no wrong, it seems.
The ZI is going home to Jonmanjiro, who misses it. Now it's (M-wise) all down to the M5 and CL for me. But maybe I'll pick up my OM4 more, esp. after studying your & Roland's work in the "year of 50s" thread.
