Hi Guys!

Just wanted to let you know that you have my heartfelt thanks for being just what you are, and for the good-spirited discussions that are conducted here... I'm currently running through a crisis (no, not related to family or friends, but academics), and am extremely stressed out, just a little while back I was barely able to write anything... The discussions here are almost my only source of contact with the world when I take a break, and just the perfect source of rejuvenation... elixir in a way for me.

Best wishes to all of you, and thanks a ton :)
- Debasish.

When times are tough, just keep your head down and do what you have to do, and you'll get through it a stronger person. Good luck, Debasish!

Yeah, hang tough. I suspect you have been thourgh crisis situations before. As FrankS said, you will get through it and be stronger. I will pray for you to get through it quickly and well.

When overwhelmed with projects or problems I found it best to divide them into small chores. Do one chore at a time. I found that easier to face. Take frequent rest breaks.

When hard times pass you i'll laugh about past times!
it happen to me a lot of times.. so take it easy and be optimist!;)
Take care Debasish

Well, Debasish, I know how it that feeling...I'm just stepped into a harsh life period - swithcing my carrier/work after finishing my B.Sc. staudies - and finding appropriate job turned to be conisderably more problematic then I was considering...particularily taking into accuont running family, two girls...thanks God at least my wife's carriers goes on fine...
Too often I find my nerves are too thin to keep controlling myself, in such cases I figured the best cure is to take my girls for a stroll along with my Leica and forget the troubles while looking for a few good compositions in Leica finder....

Well, our life is composed from a bright and dark periods...just try to keep up and be strong and bright one will come up sooner or probably a bit later ...

Debashish, after three degrees I know that feeling all too well :) My advice, for what it's worth, is to work as intensely as you can in the most disciplined, structured way possible. You may find a formal schedule helpful. Lose yourself in the work so it ceases to be a burden, but make time for your friends and pure relaxation. Realise that this "crisis" is a necessary part of the process that leads us to knowledge. I would add one thing - nothing is saved by eating badly at your desk. When I was a student we lived in self-catering houses - cooking, food and conversation clear the soul as few things will.

Good luck - and don't forget the sunscreen:)

Thanks guys :) I was hoping that I was at the last stage of my degree and suddenly I came upon problems that were overlooked by everyone before. This entire episode seems quite unfortunate, and my nerves have completely failed me. Perhaps I'll make it through... only time will tell.

Best regards,
- Debasish.
