I just scanned a role of film. It was taken with a Panda Industar.
I am unsure wether it is a keeper or not. Some pictures look really sharp and then there are some which are not so sharp.
Could that be an infinty-focus problem?
The second is a crop at 100%.
Thanks,
Robert

I third the motion. Keep it.
The enlarged portion looks good for a 100X magnification. It's probably as good as your lens could get- and probably even better than other lenses can.
Actual sharpness can depend on many things. Better resolving film can show what a lens can do, but most films are still incapable of resolving the full potential of what high-quality lenses are able to do.
Then there is also "apparent sharpness" in terms of film resolution. The way the film is developed can affect the apparent sharpness of the image. It has something to do with the fine contrast between the fine details.
And finally, if you're looking at a enlarged print, a lot of 'sharpness' is lost in the way of printing.
