Kiev CLA + lens collimating / adjustment

Who would you recommend for a full checkup/adjusting/cleaning of my Kiev-2A and for checking, relubing, adjusting all my lenses with this particular camera body ? And any estimation of the cost?

Oleg, he just did a Kiev 4M for me, I know he is knowned for his Zerki and Fed but He did a CLA on my Kiev that was right on he also replace the shutters and put a new cell in the meter and the cost without shipping was only $46.00.
He also fix my J-12 and now she is right on, had a problem with it not focusing right.
For the lens he only charged $10.00.

I guess I must have lucked because I have had no problems with whay he did for me, as I said I know he is a Fed and zorki man but what he did with my Kiev was just what I asked.
Who would you recommend for Kiev work ?.

Thank you for both comments, even before you guys posted about him, I had excluded Oleg from the list, because as Daniel quotes, he's a Zorki man. I need someone who takes his time and who does a full job, someone from the Kiev/Contax side. I'm willing to spare the required money for this 🙂

I found a Kiev and Contax Repair Service on the web. It seems to be located in the UK. I have never used them nor do I know anyone who has. May be worth a look.

Suggest buy a parts Kiev, a set of watchmakers screw drivers, and pair of small needle pointed pliers, a small file, a blower bubble for cleaning, a tube of liquid PTFE lube & then fix the parts camera. Then when the parts camera works 100%, fix your IIa. you need a deep tray, a notebook and double sided tape as well. A set of 10x8 trays allows contact prints to be processed for filing as well as stripping a camera, and lens. the note book and double sided tape are really essential.

The investement should should be less than postage if you can get some second hand.

The only rule is post a query before breaking anything. A magnet and vacuum cleaner are useful is you drop a grub screw, most of the Kiev ia ferromagnetic steel.

PS. You grind the ends of the pliers as a lens spanner first, so you can strip the J8 you get with the parts camera for dust or fungus.
PPS. I normally use my parts camera in preference to a collectors piece like your IIa.
