Newbie
Hello all.
First of all, a little intro on my part.
Michiel is the name. I live in the Netherlands. My interest in photography is mainly focused on analog cameras made in the 30's and 40's of the last century.
That doesn't mean I totally renounce all things digital!
One of the analogs has me puzzled a bit.
It's a Kodak 35 with coupled rangefinder. Described by some as "the camera with a face only a mother can love." Be that as it may: Here comes the trouble: The shutter feels a bit mushy, it doesn't really CLICK. Could be 70 years of dirt and grease. And winding it up, the mechanism doesn't seem to lock the wind-knob, causing it to spring back as I take my hands of it.
I'm not sure this is the right thread for technical questions!
But thanks in advance for any help.
