The shutter speed selection ring on my Konica Auto S2 has been bent to one side. Is this a major problem? Worth repairing?

Does it impact either the images you're getting or the ability to select the shutter speed? If not, I wouldn't bother repairing it given how little the S2s cost*. There are a lot of them out there.
* Unless you can do it yourself. If so, and if it bugs you, it may be worth doing. I think I have a parts S2 sitting around - we could probably work something out if you need parts.

Thanks for the reply.
I don't know how it impacts the images; it's also got a jammed wind arm/shutter which will have to be repaired first. I might as well try to fix this on the way. Do you have a pretty good idea which parts would have to be replaced? If so how much do you want?

Ah, okay, it sounds like it goes beyond cosmetic problems.
If you want to fix this yourself, I'd suggest starting by opening up the camera and trying to figure out what you have going on. I can't really speculate on what you'd need to get running again.

Do you have any advice about lens spanners for this camera specifically? I've looked at various options but I'm not sure if any of the "card-style" spanners work for rangefinders. Should I buy one off ebay? They had mixed quality reviews, and I don't want to spend tons. How would you get to the shutters?

Do a search on topic on the KAS2 and you'll find a solution to the stuck film advance lever. It is usually caused by a gummed up shutter from years or neglect. Pretty easy to fix though.
Not sure how to go about fixing the speed ring though.

Thanks, I have read most of the material on the jammed shutter. I'm kind of stuck (pardon the pun) because I don't have a lens spanner right now. Also, I don't understand the instructions about finding the double-wind-on prevention latch.
