Me too; anyway, for the sake of delicacy, I chose to desolder the tactile switch before open it.

Hello again.
So, I did finally follow the instructions, and fixed the autofocus.
I put it together back and autofocus works! Hurray!
Unfortunatelly, while doing that something else went wrong there, and now half of the digits on display are missing. It's like if I loaded the film ISO 100, I will see the word iso and 1 but not 00 or something like that...
Now this is something I bet I cannot fix myself.
So, here is a question now: what would you recommend, Contax G2 or Bessa R3M? I know I cannot afford Leica...

Just buy yourself another Hexar AF. They're pretty affordable. I have 2 black ones myself, with one of them having that autodate back.
