I came across a nice Konica III. The shutter blades stick intermittently - when this happens they either don't open, open slowly and incompletely, don't close at all, or close leaving a small opening in the center.
Since this is intermittent, can I assume this means there is no serious shutter problem? When operating properly, all shutter speeds sound right and the self-timer operates smoothly.
Can this possibly be solved by getting to the shutter blades and flooding with a solvent (lighter fluid)? How would I access the shutter blades? I don't see any notches on the front of the lens to remove the front element (as on my Konica Auto S2). It's clear how to get in through the back.
