L bracket for Fuji 6X9

Does someone make an arca swiss compatible L bracket that works with a Fuji 6X9 rangefinder?

AFAIK there is not a dedicated L plate for the Fuji 6x9s. However, the Kirk Universal L plate might well work. I use them with my Leica Ms now and then, but they will work with larger cameras too. Sadly I sold my GSW690 a while back, so cannot mount th Universal L plate to test it out for you.

I emailed RRS and they don't make a L bracket that will fit. I also inquired at Kirk, but have not received a response.

Has anybody tried the Novoflex QPL bracket?
I would love to find a couple of brackets for my GSW/GW.
It does not have to be Arca plate style, I would be very happy which just a couple of 1/4"

Sorry, I don't know if it will work with (fit) the GSW/GW or not. But in looking it up I saw some reviews of it on the B&H site here, where users report a few problems with the bracket. I don't know if these would apply to you, but it might be worth a read just in case.

Thanks. It is not very encouraging - not that the shortcomings cannot be fixed in some way but for the price I would expect something that works as is like a RSS or Kirk item.

Bean bag and hand-held seem to be the direction it is going for vertical shots...

Does anyone know of one for the really old 6x7/6x9 Fujis? Their tripod sockets are attached to the lens mount because the darkslide mechanism was right under the bottom plate. You can put a small Arca plate under that, but aside from using an L bracket that takes an Arca plate, you're OOL.

I have the later model Fuji's, so I can't answer your question for sure. However I have bough all of my Arca plates so far from Chris Henjar. He has mad modifications (machining away portions) of standard plates so they would fit my cameras, and delivered them quickly.

I use is B001 plate with the the short screw on my GA645zi and Olympus E-520. I use his D004 plate with a long screw on my GW690 and GSW690ii.

I use a modified B001 plate with the the short screw on my Nikon FE. He machined off the lip to 1/16" from the standard 1/8" so the lip would not block the film door.

I'm sure if you send him the dimensions you need he will make it for you.
