Has anybody tested these side-by-side?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure there are some threads, but not a single test with those 3. You may want to look up the bokeh comparison threads, and the 'too many 50s' one too.
I don't know that you will see an Industar 22 tested with the other two, but if you search Sonnar I am sure you will find comments about the J3 and Canon together. If you get a good sample, well adjusted J3 (assuming you want to shoot it on Leica stuff not FSU stuff) it can be a great bargain lens. It has an aluminum barrel, not of the quality of the Canon. Not even close honestly. But optically it can be very good.

I compared the J-3 to many 50mm lenses, and it came out as being one of the top choices for many people here. I agree that the built quality and cosmetics of the J-3 are not of the same level as those of Canon lenses. My J-3 came from Brian Sweeney. He told me that it was from a better batch than other J-3 lenses since it was made for miltary use.
The Sonnar look is not everything for me; there are uses and then there are other uses.
